Abstract: In a two-echelon supply chain of ameliorating items consisted of a single supplier and retailer,through designing coordination mechanism with price discount and trade credit,the profit gains and coordination problems of each member in the decentralized supply chain was researched.The profit levels of supplier and retailer as well as the maximum profit increment per unit time after coordinating were obtained respectively.The result showed that the coordination of ameliorating items' supply chain and Pareto improvement of member enterprises' profit level could be realized with the supplier providing price discount and trade credit as the coordination mechanism.A numerical example was presented to verify the main results,and the impact of the relevant changed parameters on the maximum profit increment per unit time for supply chain system and each member was researched.
