Abstract: To further improve the quality of railway freight service,a railway freight evaluation method based on Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was proposed.By taking the Chengdu to Chongqing railway freight and road freight as the research subject,the weight of freight service requirements with AHP was determined based on the theory of QFD and AHP.With quality characteristics system and current situation of rail freight and road freight,the House of Quality (HOQ) was constructed,and then the advantages and disadvantages between rail freights and road freights were pointed out.The suggestions of how to improve the quality of the railway freight service was given.
