Abstract: To realize sharing and reuse of existing product resources, an expression-based product resource ontology model was proposed. This model included ontology construction, ontology sharing and ontology update. The ontology construction process was provided. An approach based on the expression to analyze the relationships among the concepts of products resources was proposed. This approach firstly extracted the benchmark relationships among ontology concepts, and then based on this, local relationships of various ontology concepts under different mapping rules were deduced. A Unified concept relationship view for entire domain was obtained through classification, cohesion and the chain of transmission in turn. This formula modeling approach could avoid confused relationships due to the complex relationships among concepts, and the obtained ontology was also easily to be expanded and updated.
