Abstract: To improve the process quality of software,an evaluation method for aviation software development processes which embedded quality requirements in software engineering management was presented.Key practices and their sub-practices of software development processes were corresponded to a set of quantitative evaluation indexes and criterions,while score results were corresponded to the quantitative evaluation of quality management maturity level instead of the traditional qualitative evaluation of quality management system compliance.To verify the scientificity and practicality of this method,the internal consistency reliability,construct validity and criterion related validity were analyzed with classical test theory and correlation analysis,factor analysis and so on.A case study on the quality management evaluation of software development processes in a research institute was researched based on empirical research.The result showed the feasibility of this method at the enterprise level.
