摘要: 为抑制边界复杂的过渡,提出一种新的过渡特征抑制算法。该算法基于体重构实现过渡特征的抑制,避免直接处理过渡的复杂边界。在边过渡抑制过程中,首先根据过渡面结构重构过渡体,然后布尔操作原模型与过渡体实现边过渡抑制。通过进一步的局部几何分析及处理,该算法不但能抑制小半径的常规过渡,而且能抑制大半径的相交过渡。此外,算法还基于点过渡周围支持面的边界重构实现点过渡抑制。实验结果表明,该算法简单、通用,能有效地抑制实际工程模型中的过渡特征。

Abstract: To reduce blend features with complex boundaries in B-rep models, a novel algorithm for suppressing blends was proposed. This algorithm achieved suppression of blend feature by reconstruction and avoided directly processing the complex blend boundaries. In the course of suppress edge blends, blend volumes were firstly reconstructed and then combined with the original model by using Boolean operations. Through further local geometric analysis, not only the ordinary blends of minor radius but also the feature-intersected blends of major radius could be suppressed by this process. In addition, vertex blends suppression were realized by reconstructing vertex blends adjacent face boundaries. Experimental results demonstrated that the algorithm was effective in suppressing complex blends features of practical engineering models.
