Abstract: To improve mining accuracy of workflow models, a new algorithm for mining workflow models was proposed. Firstly, the Workflow-Model Direct-depend Matrix (WDM) was defined, and an algorithm was designed to set up WDM by using workflow logs. Secondly, another algorithm was designed to automatically generate model based on WDM. The given example was used to demonstrate improvements on model accuracy and description ability of the proposed algorithm.
