摘要: 协同虚拟环境系统以低费用实现高交互性任务的支持。系统运行于PC,对用户头部和手部运动进行跟踪并由头盔式显示仪实时显示场景,采用本地滞后算法进行一致性控制,使用交互流传输协议进行信息包传输。通过实现高交互性协同任务并进行协同性能评价,表明系统能在各种网络状况下对协同任务提供较好的支持。

Abstract: Collaborative virtual environment system is characterized by its support for highly interactive tasks with low cost. A desktop collaborative virtual environment system was researched and developed. The design and implementation of a Java Based Collaborative Virtual Environment system-JBCVE, was presented. Sensors were used to track the motions of users head and hand, and the generated appropriate scene was displayed through the head mounted display. Local lag algorithm was employed to maintain consistency and Interactive Stream Transmission Protocol (ISTP) was used to transmit message packages. Based on JBCVE, a highly interactive collaborative task was implemented and the evaluation results indicated that the system could support highly interactive and collaborative task very well under different network conditions.
