摘要: 在切触点信息缺失的情况下,以刀心点法向量为刀具半径补偿方向可能导致工件表面质量较差,为此提出一种全局法向量光顺方法。首先通过拟合平面求刀心点法向量,然后以前一个刀心点的法向量方向为基准调整当前刀心点的法向量方向,使法向量方向一致。针对相邻刀心点法向量方向偏差较大的问题,将与当前刀心点切平面不垂直的和在Z方向与周围刀心点法向量偏差较大的异常法向量分别置零,然后采用线性插值的方式实现全局法向量的平滑过渡。Vericut仿真表明,法向量光顺后,补偿精度得到提高,工件表面光滑,验证了算法的有效性。

Abstract: In the absence of the cutting contact information,using the cutting center point's normal vector as the tool radius compensation direction may cause poor surface quality of the workpiece.To improve the surface quality of workpiece,a global normal vector smoothing method was proposed.The normal vector was obtained by fitting the plane.The direction of normal vector was adjusted by the direction of former cutter center point's normal vector,so as to achieve the consistency adjustment of the normal vector direction.For the problem of large deviation for adjacent normal vector direction,the abnormal normal vector which was not perpendicular to the current cutting point plane and which had a large deviation from the normal point vector in Z direction was respectively zeroed.The smooth transition of the global normal vector was realized with linear interpolation.Vericut simulation showed that the compensation accuracy was improved and the surface of the workpiece was smooth after normal vector smoothing,which verified the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
