摘要: 原型系统GridCAD展现了一个新的基于网络服务的分布式协同CAD系统环境,并且整合了由网络服务实现的任务动态调度、分布式执行的机制。采用传统的服务器/客户端的分布式架构,以网络服务作为服务器与客户端之间 各类操作互相引用的接口,两端所有通讯和数据的传输都通过XML实现。借鉴网格计算思想而设计的任务管理器,是GridCAD中任务动态调度机制的核心,通过对客户端提交的各类操作进行动态分割实现分布式执行。而请求进程管理器则用来实现对各种客户端请求进行仲裁和校验,保证协同设计环境的正常运行。基于网络服务以及SOAP/XML的应用架构,也使GridCAD具备了支持异质平台的特性。

Abstract: Existing researches on distributive and collaborative CAD systems often focus on collaborative request submitting, but not distributive executing. A novel approach on architecture of Collaborative CAD system is proposed in this paper. A Prototype system, GridCAD, is integrated with Web Services-based Distributed-Computing technology and XML/SOAP is adopted as the communications mechanism between Server and Clients. The Session Manager provides the solution of validity maintenance of model under collaborative environment. And particularly, as the core module, Task Manager enables GridCAD to split complex operations dynamically and perform distributively. GridCAD also guarantees interoperability on heterogeneous systems so that different types of systems can communicate smoothly and perform the computation much faster than on a single machine.
