Abstract: Aiming at existing problems in the mapping methods of customer requirements and quality characteristics, a novel method of integrating multi-attribute decision models with multi-objective optimization algorithm was put forward. In this method, fuzzy DEMATEL was used to determine importance ratings of customer requirements in terms of influences among customer requirements. Choquet fuzzy integral was applied to aggregate association relationships between requirements and quality characteristics, so importance ratings of quality characteristics could be determined. Considering various factors affecting quality characteristics implementation, the multi-objective optimization model for quality characteristics mapping was constructed. The improved Strength Pareto Evolutionary Algorithm 2(SPEA2) was employed to acquire the Pareto solution set of quality characteristics mapping, and entropy optimal selection technique was adopted to choose the best solution from the Pareto solution set. The feasibility and validity of the proposed method was illustrated by a development case of large scale deep cooling air-separating equipment.
