摘要: 研究了对三维几何模型在给定视觉方向上进行深度压缩的浮雕生成算法,基于三角网格的Laplace光顺原理,按模型频率分布将三角网格分解为光顺后的基础网格、拉普拉斯算子及更高次算子,运用此分解模型对不同频率部分分别进行深度压缩,以获得具有细节保持效果的浮雕。该算法无需对模型进行重采样,无需求解大型线性方程组。在不同的材料上对生成的浮雕模型进行了加工验证。实验证明,该算法生成的浮雕细节丰富,具有很好的视觉效果。

Abstract: Bas-relief generation algorithm to compress the depth of a Three Dimensional (3D) model in view direction was studied. Taking the idea of mesh fairing by Laplace operator, a 3D triangular mesh model was decomposed into parts with different frequency:base mesh, Laplace operator and higher degree Laplace operator. A bas-relief generation algorithm was proposed by setting different compression strategy for the decomposed parts. There was no necessity in conducting re-sampling for the model and solving large sparse linear function. The generated Bas-relief models were machined in different materials. Experiments demonstrated that the bas-relief had fine details with better visual effect.
