Abstract: To achieve business-driven and flexible Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), a process-oriented business service design method was proposed. Starting from process analysis, two basic objectives as process loosely-couple and on-demand ability were both taken into consideration. Through activity dependency relationships, dependency among process activities were quantatively determined. Competitive factor was introduced. A “competition-activity-dependency structure” matrix (CAS Matrix) was proposed to describe process competitive factors and dependency relationship. Finally a service design method was proposed based on CAS matrix and multi-target clustering algorithm.
