Abstract: Current studies focus on descriptive service attribute but ignore service operation attribute, such as domain of attributes value and relationship of attributes value. To deal with this problem, constraint specification was introduced in service description. Taking attribute value and their associations as constraint conditions, formal description and classification of constraints were defined so as to depict function and activity characteristics of Web services. A matching algorithm was proposed to measure mapping degree between service and demand. The architecture and implementation scheme of the algorithm were also discussed. And it was successfully put into practice.
