Abstract: A networked manufacturing platform of Application Service Provider (ASP) oriented to mechanical manufacturing was introduced. Based on this platform, a multi-role-based authentication control strategy was established in client-side. Then requirements and measures in physical security, application service security, and network transferring security of ASP application service center were expatiated. Finally, a security framework for networked manufacturing applicable to ASP mode was presented, which would promote the development of networked manufacturing in China.
