基于弦轴转换的薄壁件中面网格生成方法

摘要: 针对传统弦轴法在抽取薄壁件中面时存在鲁棒性差、分类方法不全以及适用性差等问题,提出一种改进的基于弦轴转换的薄壁件中面网格生成方法,以生成更加高效和高质量的中面。先通过对模型的表面类型(侧面、面对和混合面)进行识别,再综合面对法与弦轴转换法的优点,根据通过模型中的连接面来虚拟分割模型,然后根据改进的网格生成方法来高效地生成单层体网格。根据完善的体网格分类方法对体网格单元进行了分类,有效切分出中面网格单元,并经过网格优化得到了最终的中面网格结果。最后,通过实例证明了该方法的鲁棒性与高效性。

Abstract: To solve the problem of poor robustness,incomplete classification and poor applicability in traditional Chordal Axis Transformation (CAT),an improved CAT based mid-surface generation approach for thin-walled model was proposed.All the face type (lateral face,face pair and mixed face) in the model was identified,and a combination method of face-pair based and CAT based was used to virtual decompose the model according to the connection faces.The single layer tetrahedral mesh was generated by the improved mesh generation method efficiently.A complete tetrahedron mesh classification was provided to assist CAT operation and the resultant mid-surface mesh could be obtained after mesh refinement.Some typical models were given to illustrate the robustness and effectiveness of the proposed approach.
