Abstract: To address the integration, reusability and servicesation problems of report system in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment, a general service-oriented report component model based on Model-View-Control (MVC) mode was proposed. An architecture-centered design principle for service-oriented report component was also presented. On this basis, the rapid construction of service-oriented report component was accomplished by using agile Model Deriven Architecture (MDA) approach. Furthermore, a Reporting Services Resource Registration Center (RSRRC) based on Universal Description, Discovery and Integration (UDDI) protocol was developed. Thus, the report-component's management and reuse was effected. The RSRRC was applied to the practical development of service-oriented ERP system, which demonstrated that the model was feasible and effective.
