摘要: 为增强联合细分曲面的造型能力,根据联合细分的特点,提出了参数修改和复合曲线网两种特征构造方法。前者根据设定的特征角,在有限次细分中改变跨界二阶偏导,从而在插值曲线上生成特征;后者则将特征构造与基曲面的形状表达分离,定义了由基曲线网和特征曲线网组成的复合曲线网,采用改进后的联合细分规则生成带有特征的插值曲面。通过实例表明,由两种方法生成特征的影响范围可灵活调节,但后者生成的曲面总体质量较高。二者一起有效解决了联合细分曲面中特征构造的难题,增强了联合细分方法的造型能力。

Abstract: In order to improve modeling capacity of combined subdivision surface, according to the characteristics of combined subdivision, parameter adjusting method and compound curve network construction method were presented. The former was to adjust second derivatives on cross curves according to the specified feature angles during a few times'subdivision and acquired features on interpolated curves. The latter was to separate the features construction from the generation of global surface, and compound curve networks,which were composed of base curve network and feature curve network,was defined. By applying the modified combined subdivision rules, the interpolation surface with features was created. Experimental results showed that the influencing area of the features generated by these two methods could be adjusted flexibly, but the total quality of the surface generated by the latter method is relatively higher. Combination of these two methods solved the difficult problem of constructing features on combined subdivision surfaces and enhanced the modeling capacity of combined subdivision method.
