Abstract: By analyzing critical success factors for general IS/IT projects and characteristics of Multi-Agent Information Systems Integration (MAISI) project, the project management, knowledge management, and project environment were found to be critical success factors of MAISI project. Based on empirical study with 238 efficiency questionnaire, it was found that there were two dimensions inside project management which were project control and project coordination, and two dimensions inside knowledge management which were knowledge sharing & diffusion and knowledge reuse, and three dimensions inside project environment which were IT planning, management foundation and IT technology. Results of path analysis indicated that knowledge management exerted remarkable influence on time, cost and quality objective of the project, project management did the same on time and cost but not on quality, and project environment on quality objective while not on time and cost.
