Abstract: Traditional production logistics in process industries was not suitable for modern market demands. To deal with this problem, the method of process production logistics equilibrium based on Make-To-Order (MTO) was proposed. Firstly, according to characteristics of the process production, classification method for production logistics was discussed. Structure models of production logistics framework, and relationship model between production capacity and material consumption coefficient were constructed. Secondly, through constructing quantity and time parameter models of process production logistics based on MTO, the optimization modeling method for production logistics equilibrium was studied in particular. Solution to optimization model and heuristic algorithm based on practical production rules were also discussed. Finally, an example was used to show its feasibility of balancing process production logistics.
